Heaven's pearly gates will soon be receiving a very special resident. Our dear New Zealand friend, Moira Lipyeat, has passed away. Traveller, Adventurer, Author, Mother, Wife, Teacher, Caver Extrodinaire, Keeper of Tales & Stories, Host of wonderful dinner parties. One of the most interesting, welcoming & generous persons I've ever known, she will be fondly remembered and missed by all who knew and loved her. Ninety-four years young, a life well lived. Rest in the light, Moira. Our condolences to Jenny, Christine, Trish & family. We will always cherish the time we were able to spent together. With love, Barbara, Leo Ari & Anna xo

Moira, you were one amazing woman achieving so much in your 94 years.
Always kind and thoughtful and fun to be with also loving those long newsy Christmas letters. We were thrilled when you and Derek would visit while traveling around in your much used trusty camp-a-van, also staying on a couple of occasions. The laughter and joy of your companionship filled our hearts and will be fondly remembered.

Rest in peace dear Moira.
