Miriam ARMSTRONG-BWAYO Obituary

On Saturday, April 18, 2026, peacefully at Akaroa Hospital. Dearly loved wife of Andrew, beloved Mum to Isabella, Nelima, and Nasiombe. Cherished daughter of Mark and Sonia Armstrong, and much loved sister of Hannah, and Rachel, loved sister-in-law of Fran, Sally, Christine, and Joel, adored aunty of Aitana, and Azahar. Dearly loved by her extended family, her friends, and her community. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Akaroa Health for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed to the Sweet Louise Charity, which supports those with incurable breast cancer in New Zealand, and can be made online at sweetlouise.org.nz. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Miriam Armstrong-Bwayo, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A service to celebrate Miriam's life will be held in St Peter's Anglican Church, 10 Rue Balguerie, Akaroa, on Thursday, April 23, at 1.00pm.

So sad to here of the passing of Miriam .Whenever we passed Miriam in the street we were always given a Lovely smile and a wave.Miriam will be sadly missed by all that knew her in Akaroa.Thinking of all her family at this sad time from the Harrington Family
