Mike MECHEN Obituary

Left this world on Sunday, July 13, 2025 after a long battle. Dearly loved father of Alex, Thomas, and Stevie-Leigh, loved husband to Kate, much loved son to Paula and the late Tom, loved brother to Joanne and the late Roy, incredibly loved uncle to Jess, Toni and Jack, and the dearly loved friend to so many. He defied all odds and had strength till the very end. We would like to send a big thank you to St John's, St George's Cancer Care, Christchurch Oncology, and all the beautiful people that have been a part of his journey. He is at peace and watching over us all. We will be having a private cremation service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
