You were one of the kindest souls I ever met, always ready with a smile or a kind word, always willing to help someone out.

While devastated at your passing, I am grateful for the years of memories, the laughter and good times we shared.

Goodbye my Friend, you'll always be remembered.

I knew Mike as his online persona of Ekimdabrave. He was kind, fun, and a joy to be around. He had the best jokes, and loved to hear my horrible puns, the worse, the better pun, and you could see the maniacal glee when he heard the worst pun, and you can tell he was memorizing it in order to spread the joy of horrid puns around to others later. He was a good and kind man, a father and husband, a business owner, and just a wildly talented person - be it in technical computers or comedy - such a diverse skillset.
He will be missed, but never forgotten.

A memory of Mikey was at the hospital after no 1 child was born. Mikey was standing there looking down at their child, tears in his eyes. A look of awe, amazement and so much love. I think of you both everyday, you are all in my prayers. Stay strong you are all loved.

Dear family of Mike Taylor, sorry for your great loss. I've had the pleasure of working with Mike when he worked at Telecom/Gen-i many years ago. His knowledge of the core network was excellent. My colleagues and I valued Mike greatly. Then some years ago I came across Mike again when he worked at Enable, we worked together for a project for ANZ at The Triangle. I've always found Mike very professional and a great guy to work with, and super knowledgeable and a fantastic can-do and helpful attitude.
He will be missed.
Go well Mike.

I knew Michael as the streamer Ekimdabrave, he was a lovely dude and would say a quick hey when he saw me on and I'd often leave my PC on his stream when I went to bed as he went live when it was quite late for me. He is a Diamond Geezer as the rock gods of old would of said, and I wish the best to the people he had to leave behind. Sincerely Ryan Crowley

Geez Blinga!!! You had one of the best senses of humour...only one...cos I had the rest mate!!
The laughs and yarns we had at work, I missed you so much when I left Enable.
This is such a shock and sad news, and my thoughts go out to his wife and kids, who he spoke of often. Big loves to you all.

I will long hold the lovely memory of Mikey´s smiling face at Good Times Comedy Club the night before he passed.

He looked so happy watching his comedy whanau singing karaoke in the club he co-owned, where he was known as Big Daddy Mike.

It was a very special night with us all having a fun time as a community in a club that plays such an important part in our lives.

I also remember Mikey being so excited about an interview Pip and I did in March which he streamed on his Twitch - he said such lovely supportive things about the interview.

Mikey was warmth, love and smiles.

He will be greatly missed. X

Mike was one of the kindest, most genuine people I have ever had the pleasure to know. I'm going to miss seeing his ever-smiling face and having random discussions about nerdy stuff <3
