Michael PETTET Obituary
(Mike, Mikee):
It is with deep sadness that we share news of the loss of Michael, who died peacefully at home on September 28, 2022 with Ali at his side. Michael was a beloved husband and soulmate of Ali, and a loved father of Duane, Monique, and Melanie. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Richard and Rhonda, and Kerry and Jo, loved and respected uncle of Nicole and Phil, Chris and Steph, and adored godfather of Matthew. Sincere thanks to Dr David Pilbrow, Dr Jim Edwards, and Dr Mark Jeffrey and the Oncology Team at Christchurch Hospital, Robbie Fyffe and Tess of the Malaghan Institute, and Nurse Maude for their exceptional care of Michael. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Michael Pettet, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society in memory of Michael would be appreciated, and may be made directly online at: www.cancer.org.nz. A Celebration of Michael's life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Tomorrow (Wednesday), at 2.00pm, private cremation thereafter.
