I remember Michael as my fourth brother, a longtime friend to my brother David.
The friendship you shared as boys and up to recent days inspired me greatly. As a result I named my sons after you both. You will be sadly missed and definitely always remembered.
I recall the days working with you at SCSB in Timaru, a man of great ability and a wonderful friend.
My sincere condolences to family and friends as you celebrate Mike's life in the coming days, and remember him as the amazing person he proved to be to each of you in his own special way.
