Michael O'MALLEY Obituary

Phil died peacefully on November 1, 2025, at Burlington Care Centre, Christchurch, in his 95th year. Much loved husband of Bernadette (Bern), and loved father and father-in-law of Christine and Richard, Stephen and Heather, Katie and Mark, Liza and Katy, and Brigid and Glenn. Loving Grandad to Ben, Sam and Lucy; Patrick, Joseph and Hannah; Jenny and Andrew; and Emily and Conor. Great-Grandad of Flo, Johnny and Rafa; and Connell and Molly. Son of the late Walter and Kathleen O'Malley and brother of the late Brian, Kathleen and Sister Rosemary RSM. Bernadette and family sincerely thank all staff of Burlington Care Centre for their professional and compassionate care of Phil. A Requiem Mass for Phil will be celebrated on Monday, November 10, 11.30am, at St Bede's College Chapel, 210 Main North Road, Papanui, followed by interment at Belfast Cemetery.
