On behalf of the Amuri Golf Club, we are deeply saddened by the news of Michael's passing. Michael was not only a true gentleman but also a cherished life member of our club. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of meeting him or sharing a round of golf in his company.
Michael's contributions to the club have been immeasurable over the years. His dedication was evident through his consistent presence at working bees and his willingness to lend a hand wherever he could. His polite and affable nature made every interaction a delight, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
During this difficult time, our thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with you all. Please know that Michael's legacy and the memories he created within the club will be cherished forever.

As Michael and Janet´s neighbor of 20 years, we are very saddened by Michael´s passing. We send our deepest condolences to his lovely family. Michael was a wonderful gentleman who was always kind, supportive, and helpful to people around him throughout difficult times, working bees, family DIYs, and many more occasions. His presence always lifted everyone's spirits. Our whole family will miss him, and we will treasure the fond memories of him.

When last in New Zealand he made my attendance at the Rotherham School Reunion so much fun with his enthusiasm and reminiscing with me about the past years of a wonderful childhood spent at the Hermitage. I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Michael Gould - a truly great man. I´ve had the privilege of looking after his gardens for over a year, and in that time, I came to know someone full of warmth, kindness, and life.

Michael always seemed happy, always had a kind word, and his presence made even the smallest moments feel brighter. I will truly miss doing his gardens, and I´ll miss the friendly chats and cheerful spirit that came with them.

My thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time. He will be sadly missed.
