Michael Ronald (Mike):
12.4.1949 - 27.5.2017
Of Christchurch. Much loved husband of Marian, father of Kathryn and Jane, father-in-law of Mike, and grandfather of Flynn. Son of Millie and Arthur, brother of Andrew and Geoff. Special thanks to family and friends for giving their unrelenting support to Mike and the family over the past 18 months. He will be remembered for his contributions to Motorsport, Civil Engineering and Dad jokes. Messages may be addressed to the Fletcher family, C/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. At Mike's request, a private cremation has been held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter or Nurse Maude would be appreciated and can be made at Mike's farewell. A farewell will be held for Mike at The Vineyard @ Rossendale, 100 Old Tai Tapu Road, Christchurch 8025, on Thursday, June 1, at 2.00pm. Smart casual dress is encouraged - Mike hated ties.
