Michael James (Tiny):
On Sunday, May 7, 2023, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, after a long illness, aged 58 years. Beloved son of Barbara and the late Arthur, stepson of John Davidson (Timaru), dearly loved brother of Fiona Eder (Timaru), loved uncle of Kristina, Corey, and Rosa (all Christchurch), and their families, loved nephew of Robyne Wells (Oamaru), brother-in-law and best pal of John Steer (Christchurch). A special thanks to the staff at Radius Hawthorne and at Christchurch Hospital for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes New Zealand would be appreciated and may be made online at diabetes.org.nz. The celebration of Tiny's life will be held at our Christchurch Crematorium Chapel, 65 Vickerys Road, Wigram, This Day (Thursday), at 2.30pm. In memory of Tiny, a native tree will be planted at tukaikino, Lamb and Hayward's living memorial.
