Our deepest condolences to Mikes family

Mike only left our farm a couple of months ago, he left happy, thriving and content, the laughs we shared on a daily basis, the fun at work and banter the three of us had, will be in our hearts forever our friend, we will always be honoured that you considered us family.
We will remember you with love in our hearts mate.
Hopefully we will get the opportunity one day, to catch up with your family to share some of our funny stories
Love always

My deepest, deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to your whanau for your irreplaceable loss.

My name is Tania Hill. I knew Mike through my husband Dave, who worked alongside Mike for the last few years. During that time, they went from workmates that clicked, to true blue mates, to a brotherhood and through that progression our whanau came to know Mike really well too.

Be it work related or just catching up at the end of the day, one of my fondest memories is the nightly phone call between the two of them. It didn't matter where in the house I was or on what part of the property I was on, Dave would have his phone on speaker and all you could hear was the two of them laughing and laughing and carrying on, you couldn't help but smile.
Every single night.
His voice was as prominent in our house as our own kids voices were. He was such an important person in my husband's life and the loss is devastating to him. My husband has lost a very very dear friend and the world has lost a little bit more colour with his absence.

Mike was a very smart, funny, kind and caring man who said it how it was and wouldn't hesitate to give you the shirt off his back if he thought it would help you. His laugh came from the core of his being and he always threw his head back to get it all the way out.
He would be by your side through thick and thin, in front of you in times of peril or behind you, lifting you sky high in times of triumph and success.

That was the true essence of his spirit.
THAT is who he was in our minds and hearts and that is exactly how he will be remembered by our whanau, always.

Rest in love Mike, you will never be forgotten.

My condolences to the family on the loss of young Mike.

I worked with Mike almost a year ago on a farm and we became very good friends with lots banter between us and laughs. He was a conscientious hard working man and I loved him like a brother. My heart is broken.

I'll come and spend some time with you Mike and share a story or two in the next few weeks.

You're free now mate.
Until we meet again.
