BURGESS, Michael John - On August 21, 2014, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, aged 66 years. Cherished husband and soul mate of Eve. Much loved father and father-in-law to Kylee, Kim and Steven, Jodi and Dean. Treasured son of Doreen and the late Osca. Loved brother and brother-in-law to Lyn and Charlie, Pete, Norman and Diana, Lawrence, Sue (deceased) and Tom, and Adriene and Dave. Wonderful granddad to Poppy, and Violet; Jonty, and Oliver. Uncle to Justin, and Shaun; Reuben; Konnie, and Yanina, and Jennifer. Special thanks to Nurse Maude Palliative Care. The Funeral Service for Michael will be held at City East Church, 118 Shortland Street, Aranui, on Wednesday, August 27, at 1.00pm.

My Dearest Eve, words cannot express my shock and heartfelt sorrow that you and your family are going through at the moment. Mike was such a great guy, although we have lost touch over the years, he will always be remembered as a great husband and Dad to Kylie, Kim and Jodie. Our thoughts are with you all Love Sue and Neil Fairbrother.
