I met Mike & Fleur on their first farmwhich was in Pine Hill, Dunedin.I was about 12 years old. Mike taught me the benefits of hard work and to try to expand my imagination, to try new methods to achieve better results. I was quite often told to talk a little less and do more work:) After joining NZED at Waitaki Power Station I had many calls to get over and helpot at the Riverside property I feel very priviledged to know the Brosnanfamily. Thanks for the many happy memories (and the Haka pub too)

A genuine and interesting character. Mike could always tell a good yarn. He wore a smile on his face and had a twinkle in his eye for life. Never a dull moment in his company. RIP friend.

We have lovely memories of Mike's visits to his ancestoral home. He had a twinkle in his eyes and such boundless energy. It was a privilege to have met him. He is free now. Our sincere sympathy to all who will miss Mike. May he rest in peace.

Here is Mike aged 73 on the top of My Cook for the 6 th time, January 11th 2005. What an amazing man and role model for us all to be inspired by. Aged 83 Mike and I biked through Auckland´s CBD including a detour through a fountain! R.I.P the one and only Mike Brosnan.

My Deepest sympathy. I have so many fond memories of Michael and his forward-thinking farming days in the Hakataramea Valley. Rest in peace, Michael.
