Michael Wayne (Mike):
On March 7, 2020, peacefully at home following a short illness, with family at his side, aged 65 years. Very much loved husband of Wendy, devoted father and father-in-law of Jaimee and Brett, and Hayley, proud and loving grandad of Rylee, Tayla, and Koby, a much loved son and son-in-law, brother and brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Nurse Maude Association would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The Service to celebrate Michael's life will be held in our AvonPark Chapel, corner Kerrs and Pages Roads, Linwood, Tomorrow (Thursday), at 2.00pm.

Two dates in your life, when your born and when we die, but what really counts is how we lived our life and how we loved.
To my brother Micheal we had such great times growing up as a family , filled with joy and trials as a big family has,I am so grateful I got to say goodbye to you and in your way said "Chin up kid" Memories I will hold in my heart.

Dear Wendy - we are so sorry to read of Michaels passing in today's paper. What a lovely man - so pleased we had the good fortune to know him. We have a photo of Us both at your beautiful wedding on display in our lounge- a very hot day as John wore jandals!! - yes we had an argument over that John and I have lived on the West Coast since 1988 but haven't forgotten the good times with you and Michael. We are thinking of you and your family Wendy and are sorry we can't be there on Thursday. Would love to catch up soon if possible- much love John and Karen Payne

BOURKE, Michael Wayne:
Born October 2, 1954, passed away on March 7, 2020, after a short illness and a brave battle at home in Christchurch, aged 65 years. Very much loved brother of Terry and Raewyn, adored uncle of Angela, Arthur, Tracey, Ross, and great-uncle of Little Terry, Bobbi, Jaide and Jordyn. Thanks mate for all our phone calls and chats over the years. I will miss you long time. You have left a legacy in your beautiful family. The love between us and them will always be there and contact will never be lost. We will meet again but not quite yet, you are at peace now.
