Michael Hugh:
It is with great sadness that Sarah, Emma, and Finlay would like to let Whanau, friends and the community know that Mike passed peacefully at home, surrounded with the love of his family, on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Messages may be addressed to the Blackwell Family, c/- PO Box 7, Kaiapoi 7644. At Mike's request, a private cremation has been held. A memorial wake will be held on Friday, June 23 at 2.00pm at the Kaiapoi Club, 113 Raven Quay, Kaiapoi. Please wear a favourite outfit, whether it's comfy jeans or a bright floral dress.

Michael Hugh (Mike):
Michael passed away peacefully at home on May 17, 2023. Dearly loved son of Jean and David Blackwell (dec) late of Kaiapoi, greatly loved and loving brother and brother-in-law of Rosemary and Brian Whyte, Sara Blackwell, Andrew and Mary Blackwell, and Libby and John Wallace. Loved uncle of all of his nieces and nephews and their families.
