Our sincere condolences on the sad passing of Mike. I have great memories of our time together at PDL.

Absolutely shattered to hear of the passing of Mike, i was lucky enough to work with Mike in the early 80s as a Sales Cadet at PDL, shared great times with Mike and always stayed in contact and enjoyed running in to Mike in many bars in ChCh, an absolute Champion a million dollar smile, my thoughts are with you Liz and family Tony Smith Christchurch

I had the pleasure of working with Mike in the 80"s at PDL Sales. Great guy and so sad to hear of his passing. Always stopped for a chat in times since and called in many times for a coffee at our Cafe. Condolences to his family

Shocked and saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I enjoyed a number of years' working with Mike at PDL, he was inevitably cheerful, professional and a great team guy. Very sad to hear of Mikes passing. I have fond memories of having drinks with Mike on various occasions in the conference center at PDL. Mike would often stop in for a chat when passing through my store. He always seemed happy with a big smile on his face.

Mike was a great 'young' guy whose company I enjoyed when we were colleagues at PDL.

He was very athletic and when we played 7s in Hagley Park, his running with the ball was such that I always felt he could have been an All Black.

It is with a heavy heart that we send our condolences to you all, our whanau, in the passing of Michael, our beloved cousin, whose mahi, contributions and interactions over many years will be with us forever. Words cannot adequately express our grief especially of one at such a young age who still had many milestones to meet but his spirit will live on through all of us; you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Due to a whanau tangi in the North Island we are unable to attend Michael's service on Thursday and other cousins will be in attendance. I will be in contact next week.
