Michael BAINES Obituary

We are sad to hear of Mikes passing, he was a great competitor and former member of the Motueka Bowling Club. He will be sadly missed.
On a person note I will miss our conversation whenever we ran into each other.

Saddened to hear of Uncle Mikes passing. Lovely memories of him. He was a great uncle to me growing up. Lots of love and strength to Pauline and family. We are thinking of you !

Knew you a long time Michael all growing up together in Lyttelton same era, different schools , but! we were all mates right through to adult years and watching all you boys playing rugby in Lyttelton many fond memories, you always had a great sense of humour.

So long Uncle Michael. You were a great guy and a mentor to me when I needed one. You and Chris were fantastic role models for a young man growing up in the 70s.

Rest in Peace my lovely Uncle Mike. I have vivid memories of going with my Dad to watch him play rugby. He was such a funny, loving and gentle man and he will be missed greatly. What a great reunion there will be in heaven at the moment as he is reunited with his Mum, Dad, brother and sisters. Sending my love to Aunty Pauline and all the family at this sad time.
