Mervyn TOPP Obituary

On February 8, 2025, surrounded by his family, aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of Helen. Much loved father and father-in-law of Lindsey and Carlyn, Warren and Amy, and Michael and Gabrielle. The best Granddad and Great-Granddad to his eight
grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Special thanks to the team at Ward 19, Christchurch Hospital for the excellent care of Merv. Messages may be addressed to: The family of Mervyn Topp, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. Merv's final meeting will be held in the Embers Room, Papanui Club, 310 Sawyers Arms Road, Bishopdale, on Thursday, February 20, from 1.00pm. We invite family and friends to celebrate his life and have a drink and toast to Merv.

So sad to hear this news Helen, Merv was a great guy..Do you remember the day Gary and Merv tried skiing down the hill from your place in waimate. Hill not very high, and bugger all snow , but a bet was on, to c who could stay up the longest , Merv won! Best butcher in waimate , loved the cheerios. The guys will be up there together now-having a great yarn. My heartfelt condolences to you all. Judy Owers
