Melville PHILPOTT Obituary

On July 3, 2024, at Diana Isaac Retirement Village, Christchurch, aged 93 years. Dearly loved husband of Dianne, for 69 years, loving father of Murray (deceased) and Christine, Michelle, and son-in-law of Jeff Dijksma (deceased), greatly loved Granddad of Daniel and Charlotte, Pieter and Jacinta, Lizzie and Ryan, Gabrielle and Georgia, and the best Great-Granddad to Lexie, Jessica, and William. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Melville Philpott, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to Nurse Maude Hospice or St John Ambulance would be appreciated, and may be made online at nursemaude.org.nz, or stjohn.org.nz. As per Melville's wishes, he will be cremated in a private ceremony. A memorial service to honour Melville will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Tuesday, July 16, at 2.00pm.
