To "The Coopers"
please accept my sympathy on Melva's death. She was a great friend and neighbour to my parents Noeline and Albert Weakley. I know that Mum enjoyed going to housegroup at Melva's which I think she hosted every week for a number of years and was a fixture in Mum's life while it existed.
I remember back to the days when Melva used to win the ladies' running races at the annual All Saints Church picnic and her working very efficiently as the school secretary at Avonside Girls' High!
May you remember her life and all that you did together, Love Coral Atkins (Weakley)
