WALKER, Melissa Kate:
On June 9, 2022, peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospice, aged 48, with family by her side. Deeply loved daughter of Ross and the late Jenny, and deeply loved sister of Brad. Much loved niece of Jan and Philip, Murray and Joyce, Sue and the late Kevin, Barbara and the late Tony. Loved and adored by her cousins, friends, and so many others. Melissa was an inspiration to all those who witnessed her amazing bravery and strength during an incredibly challenging 10 month illness. Sincerest thanks to the dedicated hospice and District Nursing staff at Nurse Maude, and the medical teams across multiple departments at Christchurch Hospital.
