WHITE, Melba Annie
(nee Proctor):
Peacefully at home, on Monday, May 8, 2023. Loved wife of the late Des, loved Mum and mother-in-law of Pat (Gore), Desma and Doug Barrie (Cambridge), loved Nana of Andrenna and David Holmes (Brisbane), Maria Barrie and Jason Hanham (Cambridge), and great-Grandma of Ayla and William Holmes; and Emma Hanham. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Sylvia and Jack Ingram (both dec), Fred and Jean Proctor (both dec), Gordon Proctor (dec), Norman (dec) and Gladys Proctor, Bill Proctor (dec), Keith (dec) and Sally Proctor, Shirley and John Deans, also sister-in-law of Mollie Simpson (dec), Mac (dec), Alec and Les White (both dec) and Dulcie van Beek (dec), loved Aunty to all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Melba's life will be held at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Saturday, May 13, at 1.30pm, followed by interment at Charlton Park Cemetery. Donations would be gratefully appreciated for Hokonui St John and may be left at the service. Messages to 17 Elsie Street, Gore 9710.

My best wishes to all involved with Melba's death. My Dad was a Proctor from Gore and my Mum was a White from Wendon. I have recollections of mention of Melba. Can anyone please set me on the right path?
