Max was a very generous man with his time and hospitality. He gave up most of one Easter to audit the books of a parachurch organisation for which I worked and always invited us to stay in his home when we were in the city.
He is greatly missed by my wife and I.

I was sorry to hear of Max's death. I really did appreciate his support as my Supervisor in Immigration work. I did this work as part of my ministry in the Methodist Church and the Church was so appreciative of this and other work he did on behalf of the Church.

Max was thoughtful and generous, his devotion to family and church was admirable. I could always count on Max, seeing the best qualities in you as you will go out of your way to help us and others. I will cherish the memories I have of Max, and although I felt a gap in me I knew you are in right place now. We surely miss you. My heart goes with Sandra and family. May God bless you more.

My late husband Peter was a great follower and attended courses Max ran many years ago at Majestic House and I remember him well. There is great comfort for you all to know where he is now. Much love.
