Maxwell EDGAR Obituary

On Monday, September 15, 2025, peacefully at Thorrington Village, surrounded by loving family, aged 89 years. Esteemed husband and friend of Lesley for nearly 70 years. Much loved and loving father and father-in-law of Christine (deceased), Liane and Peter, and Vivienne and Daniel. Treasured Grandad of Siobhan and Royden; Hannah, and Claire; Leo, and Heath. Delighted
Great-Grandad of Sienna, and Piper; Archie, Millie, and Penny; Malachy, and Marcella. The family gives special thanks to Thorrington Village staff for their incredible care and kindness to Max. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John would be appreciated, and may be made online at stjohn.org.nz. A private burial has been held at Rakaia Cemetery.
