SMITH, Max McKenzie:
Peacefully at home, on July 19, 2017. Aged in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Helen for 55 years, cherished father and father-in-law of Brian, Barbara and Kevin, David and Sherryl, Belinda and Ian, Richard, and Sheryl. Much loved brother of Lois, and brother-in-law of Nan, Alistair and Josie, Ian and Val, Marjorie, and the late Stuart, John, Sandy, and Graham. Devoted and adored grandad and great-grandad. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Grateful thanks to Dr. Jon Aitken Halswellhealth, Healthcare NZ: District Nurses Sinead, Cathy and Roger and Support Workers Ann and Angie.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance ChCh accepted at the service. Messages to the Smith family, c/- PO Box 10345, Christchurch 8145. A service to celebrate Max's life, will be held in the Ferry Park Chapel, 297 Ferry Road, on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at 2.00pm. Private cremation thereafter.
