WELLS, Maurice Jamison D.F.M. Reg. No. 411961. Flight Sgt. 12 Squadron, WWII, Patron of the RNZAFA - On September 9, 2014, peacefully at home, in his 96th year. Dearly loved Hub of the late Eleanor. Much loved father and father-in-law of David and Helen, Jeanne and Bill (Norway), Heather and Nic, Ken and Young Oak, Ruth and Yogi, and loved granddad and grandpa of his 22 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.

Lord and Saviour.
Messages to the Wells family, c/- PO Box 187, Lyttelton 8841. A Service to celebrate Maurice's life and faith will be held in the Hope Presbyterian Church, Aymes Road, Hornby, on Monday, September 15, at 10.30am, and afterwards private.

In an on-line reference to Maurice's service with 12 squadron he is described as tall, gentle, quiet and unassuming. In the time I knew him nothing had changed. He was a wonderful Christian role model for me and it was a privilege to have known him.
