Morrie extremely sad I didn't get to see you before you passed away... if only I'd known you weren't well. We had over 30 yrs of memories together and I was so lucky to have you in my life at work and outside of work. You gave me away at my Wedding and that made me very happy!! Thank you so much for everything you did for me, and the many laughs and fun we had in all those years... so many memories I will cherish. So so sorry I wasn't there for you at the end..xxx
Condolences to the family.

Saddened to hear the news of Maurie passing. We first met him and Linda at Kaikoura where he invited myself and my family to tea. Later I worked as a cleaner at Skellerup where we caught up again. Later I helped out at the Brighton fish shop when they first bought it.
He was always a kind, considerate friend.
My thoughts go out to his family at this sad time.
