Maureen van KOEVERDEN (nee Dwyer) Obituary

On January 25, 2026 at Charles Upham Retirement Village aged 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Frank. Loved and cherished mum and mother-in-law of Sharyn and Tony Atkinson, Maree and David Shadbolt (Australia) and Ross and Karen van Koeverden. A special and caring nana and great-grandmother. Loved sister and sister-in-law of the late John and Jill Dwyer, Margaret and the late Des Paterson and her nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Charles Upham Retirement Village, Rangiora for the love and care given to Maureen for the last 4 1/2 years and the late Frank 2021 to 2023. The exceptional, kind and compassionate care to Mum and Dad is very much appreciated by your rest home, hospital and special care staff. The service of the celebration for the life of Maureen will be held in St Patrick's Catholic Church, 61 Fuller Street, Kaiapoi, on Friday, January 30 at 2.00pm.
