Maureen SMITH Obituary

SMITH, Maureen Elizabeth (nee Kilbride) (formerly of Southbridge) - On January 1, 2014, peacefully at George Manning House. Dearly loved wife of the late Jack; much loved mother and mother-in-law of Pat and Jan, Terry and Anne, Kalvyn and Margaret, Maureen and Steve O'Brien; and loved nana, great-nana and great-great-nana of all her grandchildren. In her 97th year.

Messages to the Smith Family, c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nurse Maude Association would be appreciated, and can be made at the service. The Funeral Mass for Maureen will be held in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Spencer Street, Addington, on Friday, January 10, at 12.00 noon, and afterward an interment in the Memorial Park Cemetery. A Rosary Service will be held in Pat and Jan's home Tomorrow (Thursday), at 7.00 p.m.

SMITH, Maureen Elizabeth — The Matriarch of the Kilbride family has passed away. Dearly loved daughter of the late Ellen and Ned Kilbride, and much loved sister and sister-in-law of Garry Kilbride, and the following deceased family members: Monica and Neville Hewinson, Jack, Patricia and Noel Morgan, Sister Loretto (Ellen, Nell), Bob and Fay, Teresa and Ivan Herring, Ted and Myrtle, and Brenda and Bill Hilliard.
