Maureen MITA Obituary

On Monday, May 19, 2025, peacefully at home, surrounded by whānau, aged 90 years. Loved wife of the late John, loved Mum and mother-in-law of Ann and Barry, Sonny (deceased), Peter, Carol, Mark (deceased), Karina and Pete, Ngareta, and Ngahuia, loved Tāua, Gran, and Great-Gran to her mokopuna, loved sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Maureen Mita, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. Special thanks to the staff at Ngaio Marsh, and HealthCare NZ for their care and support. The funeral service in celebration of Maureen's life will be held in Te Pā o Moki Marae, corner Pohau and Gullivers Roads, Taumutu, Leeston, on Friday, May 23, at 11.00am.
