Maureen Patricia:
On March 31, 2023, after a short illness, at Christchurch Hospital, aged 86 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Kevin; dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Karen and Murray Smith, Leonie and Craig Laing, the late Craig, and Lisa and Alex Giesen. Loved daughter of the late Gladys and the late Bert Steele, and sister of the late Leone and the late Lois Findlay. Adored grandma of Danielle; Aaron, Nick and Claire, Hamish; Olivia and John, Annabelle and Kiriana, Sebastian, and Lotte. Adored great-grandma of Oscar, Archie; Freya, Greta, and Angus. Special friend and cherished aunty of Catherine Findlay, and great-aunty of Abby and Ross Penney, and James Tranter. Loved and respected sister-in-law, and aunty. The Requiem Mass for Maureen will be celebrated in St Gregory's Catholic Church, 30 Cotswold Avenue, Bishopdale, This Day (Wednesday), at 10.30am, followed by interment at Yaldhurst Cemetery. Please note that there will not be any refreshments served after the Mass. There will be a Rosary at the Church on Tuesday, April 4 at 6.00pm.
