Maureen GRAY Obituary

Born January 17, 1948. Passed at Christchurch Hospital on Monday, August 18, 2025, aged 77 years, with family at her side. Much loved daughter of the late Douglas and Sylvia Gray. Much loved sister of Dereck and Kaye, Elaine, Pauline and Nigel, and the late Alan, Ian, and David. Treasured Aunt of Melissa and Simon Floyd (Nelson), Michael (Melbourne), Mamae Blake (Hervey Bay), Te Kahurangi Blake and Jayson Ware, Morehu and Marj Blake and Te Wakaiti (Brisbane). Great-Aunt to Molly, Oscar, Max, Keyshawn, Ethan, Lyndell, Te Koha, Lucca, Ikaia and Ari. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Ward 17 for their compassionate care of Maureen over her series of latest admissions. We would like to record our appreciation for the care and support of Maureen from her various caregivers over the years and to the wonderful support of the staff at 6 Milano and Idea Services - thank you all. A Funeral Service for Maureen will be held in the Academy Funeral Services Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Tomorrow, Thursday, August 21, at 10.00am. Following the service Maureen will be laid to rest at the Rangiora Lawn Cemetery.
