Matthew SHOVE Obituary

November 1960 – July 2023 Passed suddenly. Loving soulmate of Nicola and cherished father of Cameron. Loved son of the late Ted and Tui Shove and son-in-law of Doreen and the late Graeme Stockdill. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Michael (deceased), Tom (deceased), Catherine and Mark Rozendaal, Rosemary and Neil Muller, Gretchen and Richard Potter, Sarah Stockdill, and David Simpson. Adored uncle of all his nieces and nephews and their families. Donations to Christchurch Ambulance Service or your local ambulance service would be appreciated. Messages to the Shove family, c/- PO Box 10345, Christchurch 8145. A private service will be held.

Our deepest Sypathies dear Nicola and Cameron, we have only yesterday heard of Matthew´s passing. He was always remembered as a fun loving guy who was our Son Derek´s best man.
We enjoyed the times we spent with you and your family visits to Blenheim.
Our thoughts are with you, Nicola and Cameron, even though our paths did not cross in these past few years.

Devastating to hear from TP workmate that Matthew had passed away last month.
Matthew was the most genuine fellow I ever knew. Always bubbly and never a dull moment. Matthew deserved to be around for decades to come but I will never forget him and his unique personality.

Nicola and Cameron, Matthew was too young to go, he was always so vibrant and full of life. I know he had a special spot in Dads heart he so enjoyed his company in their outdoor adventures together. To Mum, John and I, and my children we so enjoyed his company. We were ever so thankful he bought his camera along to a Mum and Dads wedding anniversary. Some very special family photos he took that day! So talented.
Hold onto all your special memories you as a family created together, over time this will help you both get through. Love Joanne and John xxxx
