Suddenly and unexpectedly on January 23, 2025, in Whistler, Canada. Much adored son of Cameron and Julie, and cherished brother of Alex. Much loved grandson of Brian and Jeanette Mason (both deceased), and Barbara (deceased) and Tony Mitchell. Loved nephew of Gary and Claire, Richard and Mair, Andrew and Heidi, and Jason and Melany. Loved cousin of Jack, Georgia, Jack, Tom, Molly, Evie, Jake, Jessica, and Alice. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Mattie Mitchell, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A farewell for Mattie will held at our Oaklands Chapel, corner Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on February 19, at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
