Mary hosted me when I was visiting friends in Ashburton last June. At the last minute, my friends weren't able to put me up in their place and Mary so kindly volunteered her guest room. We had many nice conversations including about what her life was like when she was a teacher and how she met her husband. Mary was such a generous, loving woman. I will always remember her. I offer my deepest condolences to her family and friends. Rest in peace, Dear Sweet Mary.

Our deepest sympathy to Mary's family.
Mrs Voshaar was the beginning teacher at Fairview School for our children Shane and Emily Smith.
Her teaching ability and warm kind personality we remember.
She was a treasure who will be sadly missed.

RIP Mary. I have lovely memories of Mary during our teaching time together at Fairview. Mary was kind, patient and wise, and had a fun twinkle in her eye, I learnt from her.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Mary´s passing. She was a much-loved and respected colleague and friend, and we were fortunate to have had the pleasure of working alongside her at Fairview School. Mary was an exceptional teacher who made a lasting difference in the lives of so many children. She had a remarkable gift for helping new students settle into school and classroom life, always ensuring each child felt supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Mary´s kindness, care, and dedication left a lasting impression on her students and colleagues alike. It was a privilege to work with her and witness the positive impact she made every day. Her warmth, generosity, and commitment to children will be fondly remembered.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences. Our thoughts are with you and all who loved Mary.
