Mary PURVES Obituary
PURVES, Mary Elizabeth:
On September 23, 2022, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Christchurch Hospital, aged 72 years. Dearly loved wife of Ross, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Scott, Blair and Amanda, loved sister and sister-in-law of Helen and Gordon. Loved sister-in-law of Jill and Kevin and a loved aunty to all her nieces and nephews. A special thanks to all the staff at ICU Christchurch Hospital. A celebration of Mary's life will be held in The John Rhind Chapel, entry from London or Whitmore Sts, Christchurch, on Friday, September 30 at 4.00pm. I was saddened to hear of Mary´s passing. We first met in the 3rd form at Cashmere High School, and became good friends. I was fortunate to share a weekend with our girls group of friends in 2015 at Hanmer. Lots of great life stories were told, with good friends, great food, wine and the hot pools.
