Many are the visits of the Cunneens down to see the welcoming family of Mary, Des and family. I was so lucky to spend 3 or 4 holidays helping Mary in the house with the children's baths and keeping them occupied, meanwhile my brothers helped with the harvesting or potato picking. We were treated like family and always loved our time in Methven with them. Mary this busy, happy mother who loved to spoil everyone. Brenda adored her and never forgot how wonderful she was to us all in those holidays.
Over the years Mum loved catching up and discussing all the Aunts and Uncles. Aunt Joan a darling so how could Mary not be wonderful.
To all you, the family, I say do not be sad. I hope you have lots of happy memories to help you get through this tough time and I hope along with the tears there are lots of smiles and laughter as you remember your lovely Mum.
Fondest wishes. I will think of her this morning while the service is on and wing some prayers to ensure the ' Man'up there is aware of just what a treasure he has reunited with Des, Joan, Frank, and of course my loved ones too!
I know I say this on all the Cunneen families behalf.
Take care everyone.
Fondest wishes to you all.
