Our families spent a lot of time together when we were children so Aunty Mary is a major part of my childhood memories. I remember sleepovers at Leitriem St, and enjoying the use of the swimming pool, and our family holidays together at Momarangi Bay. In later years, as my godmother, she continued to take an interest in everything I was doing, and always welcomed me into her home with her warm and cheerful hospitality. I'm also very thankful that I was able to spend some time with her more recently while I was back home in Blenheim - I will cherish my memories of Aunty Mary.
