To the McKee family. Only tonight and a friend sharing on facebook. Shocked at this tragic event that has taken this awesome woman from this life. I use to train Mary back in those old Pro Fitness days. So funny you mentioning exercise as indeed a big part of her wellbeing. My love to you all to stay strong. June Tobin

I am so heartbroken that I can't even begin to imagine how devastated you, the McKee and Beeson families, must feel. When I saw her face flash across our tv screen two weeks ago and subsequently searched the internet to understand why, I didn't want to believe what I was reading. I kept hoping there was some sort of mistake. Mary-Elizabeth was such a beautiful person; so caring, so elegant, so proud of her family, and so very kind. I feel so thankful to have known her but so very sad that our time was cut short. My heart goes out to all of you as you struggle to carry on without her. She will forever be remembered for her warmth and generosity and I will think of her every time I smell the perfect scent of a rose.

My deepest sympathy,

Julia Vernon

Bridget and Peter are thinking of Arthur and all the family. It is just unbelievable, and unexpected. We can picture Mary as so vibrant and full of life. We share with you the shock of how sudden this is, and we are thinking of you as you come to grips with it. We are ourselves overseas for a bit, so will miss the service, but you will remain in our thoughts. Love Bridget and Peter
