Mary ARSCOTT Obituary
On February 14, 2022, passed away peacefully at WesleyCare, in her 89th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Jim, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Jamie and Vicki, Tony, Michael (deceased) and Felicity, Sarah and Simon, Richard and Susan, David (deceased) and Mel, adored nana of all her grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Felix (deceased) and Mary Sugrue, Greg (deceased) and Brenda Sugrue, Anne and Eric (deceased) Harper, Bill and Pam Sugrue, Marg and John O'Neill, loved aunty of her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to all who have cared for Mary. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Mary Arscott, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Christ the King Catholic Church, Greers Road, Christchurch, on Monday, February 21, at 11.00am, followed by interment in the Yaldhurst Cemetery. Working with Mary at Straven Rest Home was always a pleasure. She was especially caring towards the residents, and the day was always better when she was on duty as Mary was a little dynamo, full of laughter and fun. Lovely memories of a lovely lady.
