Martina ADMIRAAL Obituary

On July 29, 2025, peacefully at Burwood Hospital, surrounded by three generations, aged 89 years. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Peter and Karen, Michael, and Jason and Veronique. Cherished and special Oma to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beloved middle sister of Gre, Henny, Toos, and Marion, and Tante Tinie to all her family back in The Netherlands. Tina faced her final months with courage, grace, and determination – as she did her whole life. She was deeply loved, and her warmth, strength, and spirit will live on in all who knew her. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Wards B2 and C1 at Burwood Hospital for their exceptional kindness and care. I lived with Tina in 2007/2008 when I attended English school in Christchurch. Tina, you were like a mother to me, such a loving and kind-hearted person. We had a wonderful time together, laughed a lot, and had many great conversations-it was wonderful. We also had a wonderful time when you visited me in Switzerland for a week, and I was able to show you Switzerland and my homeland. The reunion in Zurich with many former Swiss students was also wonderful. We last saw each other in 2017 when my friend and I visited you-a beautiful memory! Tina, thank you so much for everything, and I miss you very much. Love, Raymond
