Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at home in Methven on November 20, 2025, after a long hard fought battle. Much loved son of William (Bill) Collis Talbot (dec), and Mary Lorraine Talbot (dec) (Christchurch), caring and protective brother to Hilary Talbot (Christchurch). Much devoted and forever loving husband of 54 years to his cherished Christine, exceptional tower of a father and father-in-law to Lisa and Julian (Blenheim), Mandy and Geoff (Methven), and Paul and Manu (Leeston). Legend Grandad (G'dawg) to Jacob, Sam and Riley (Blenheim), Ashleigh and Chris (Christchurch), Holly and Tee (Australia), and Betty (Leeston).
