Martin CHARLES Obituary

Sunrise 9.9.1945
Sunset 19.11.2025

After a courageous and lengthy, hard-fought battle with cancer, Martin passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family. A younger brother to Roger, and a dearly loved husband of 55 years to Cheryl. A treasured dad of Penny and Matthew, and beloved father-in-law to James and Terrina. A much-loved grandad to Emily, Joshua, Joseph, Grace, and Charlotte, and grandad-in-law to Cameron. A man of honour, integrity, laughter, and hope, whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew him. He cherished life, and his memory and spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. In his final days, the family was blessed to share a living funeral with Martin, a time of stories, laughter, love, and gentle goodbyes. As a family, we extend our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all who so tenderly cared for him, and to the Nurse Maude Hospice for their unwavering support during the past week.
