Remembering Marshall Gatley. Farewell to the last of the Gatley Siblings, all of whom were treasured by my mum, Margaret. Their stories will live amongst us, Marshall's children, nieces and nephews. For me particularly they are old stories of my grandfather who was given land that required so much clearing, after returning from the war. A life we will never comprehend, and so much work those Gatley siblings did throughout their lives to allow their children to be who they are. Marshall continued that life on the land and worked hard for his boys and for Helen. A true Southland gentleman who had that Gatley sly grin, love of the good food and who will now be reunited with his one true love. Ross and I will treasure the last coffee we had with you. Rest in Peace Uncle Marshall, and love to our cousins, Stephen & Mark and Bruce, and their families. With Love Maria Sheehan
