Mark SADLER Obituary

Mark taught me when he was in his late 60s. In economics the lecturer talked about a guy and a massive argument they had on a street corner (I think they were both on their bikes). Ask him after class if it was Mark, his face lit up. I saw him 3-4 years ago on the coast. Some insights I'm still using today. Thanks

Mark contributed much to Christchurch - he helped struggling maths and chemistry students (me in my younger days), wrote thoughtful letters to the Press about a range of topics, and genuinely cared about the community. His is a sad loss.

SADLER, Mark Brian David — On October 28, 2013, after a short illness in his 83rd year. Dearly loved husband of Barbara, loved father and father-in-law of Daria and John Forrester, and Glen; loved granddad of William, and Harry.
