Mark NORRELL Obituary
Passed away in Christchurch, after a brief illness, on Friday, July 15, 2022, with his family by his side. Aged 78 years. Devoted and loving husband of the late Maureen Norrell. Loving father and father-in-law of Sheila (deceased), Darren and Larena, Dale and Alison, Justin and Renée, and Terence. Amazing Granddad to his 9 grandchildren.

The service to celebrate Mark's life will be held at St Silas Anglican Church, 237 Main North Rd, Christchurch, on Monday, July 25, 2022, at 10.30am. Messages for Mark's family may be posted to, The Norrell Family, c/- PO Box 31300, Christchurch 8444. Grateful thanks to the Team at Summerset Casebrook, for their kind care of Mark. In lieu of flowers, donations to Nurse Maude Hospice would be appreciated and may be made at the service.

We have many wonderful memories of Mark and Maureen : their friendships, Christian witness and Mark´s leadership during a time of change in the Belfast Redwood parish(now NW ChCh) Our prayers and love goes out to the extended family and we trust you remember the great times and the difficult times when faith brought you through. Apologies for our absence owing to Covid.

I have known Mark Norrell since 1981, when I met him at the Public Service Garage in Christchurch. Mark and myself had many conversations on worldly affairs when we were employed at the Public Service Garage. In May 1985 Mark led me to give my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Rest in peace Mark as you are now with the Lord Jesus Christ.
