Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 22, 2015, aged 70 years. Loving husband of Sue, loved father of Kate and Amy, and granddad to Indiana. The Memorial Service for Mark will be held at "The Vineyard at Rossendale", 100 Old Tai Tapu Road, Christchurch, on Thursday, August 27, 2015, at 2.30pm. My condolences to Sue, Kate and Amy. I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Mark last week.
You don't often meet men like you father in the course of your life, but when you do they are not quickly forgotten. My encounters with your father, even though so long ago are vivid in my mind as if it were yesterday, as is such with great people.
My deepest sympathies to you all in this difficult time. He lived a life worth celebrating.
I hope Corinne could pass on my condolences today.

An old school-buddy well-remembered from Linwood High School. So sad to hear. Part of our little gang at school - the blond crew-cut kid popular with the girls I recall. My thoughts are with you Mark (Penguin to some footy mates) Bricko (Neville Brixton, Auckland)
