Passed away peacefully in his sleep, at Diana Isaac Retirement Village, on November 24, 2025, aged 89 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of the late Phyllis for 64 years, loved and cherished father and father-in-law of Geoff and Christine, Neil and Karen, Lynda (deceased) and Dave, and Kerry and Lora. Grandfather of Grant, Ashleigh, and Sam; Cameron, and Hannah; Bailey, Danielle, Nicole, and Marcus. Great-Grandfather of Kalani, Kendall, Maeve, Scarlett, and Noah. Many thanks to the staff at Diana Isaac Retirement Village for their compassionate care of Mark. My sincere condolences to Marks family.
He will be deeply missed and remembered with love and laughter for such a kind man

The last of the larakin Houston Boys.
Uncle Mark helped me buy my first little Honda 50 Step thru scooter and later my first car.

I left NZ 1979 but always popped in to visit Uncle Mark and Aunty Phyllis and their Foxy at the time when I was back home.
