I am so sad to hear of Marks passing. We were on SAR together and shared many moments together making many memories. Mark was a real good guy, very dependable and trustworthy. He will be missed. My condolences to the family. Bomber.

I´m really saddened to read Mark has passed away. I worked with him at the old Sydenham Station in Stanley Street. We were a really tight group at that station and had lots of laughs. He was a really decent man, a great Police Officer, and my heart goes out to his family

Firstly condolences to the family and friends of Mark. I attended Xavier with him 1981-1985, he was a tremendous runner and I have many memories of battling against him during our PE run around the school block, sports days, and many football and cricket pitches. He always had the type of personality to have maximum fun, alot of mischief and a fair amount of good trouble. I haven't seen him since those days, and I share my condolences with you all. Much Love and strength, Jason Hermens
