Marius Jacobus:
On January 15, 2021, passed peacefully at Nazareth House, aged 93 years. Dearly loved husband of Lois, much loved father and father-in-law of Maurice and Catherine, and Adrian and Timoti. Marius was a loved Opa of his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his nieces and nephews and extended family in Holland. Messages may be sent to the Stegehuis Family, c/o P.O. Box 263, Kaiapoi 7644. A very special thank you to the Staff at Nazareth House for their wonderful care of Marius. A service to celebrate Marius' life will be held at Nazareth House Chapel, 220 Brougham Street, Christchurch, on Friday, January 22, at 1.30pm. Private cremation thereafter.

As the oldest living nephew of Oom Marius, I would like to express my most heartfelt and sincere condolences to his widow, Aunt Lois, and to all my New Zealand family, also on behalf of my wife Cathy and my daughter Carla Verena. I deeply regret that we won't be able to attend the funeral on Friday, but will be with you in spirit and in our hearts.
